Results
NOMINATION «SYMPHONIC MUSIC»

345 symphonic works were submitted to the competition in 2020. Applications were received from 32 cities of Russia, as well as 47 countries of the near and far abroad, including all 5 continents. As a result of listening to 345 compositions, 6 symphonic compositions were admitted to the 3rd round. The final of the competition in the format of a public performance took place on October 12, 2020 in the Great hall of the St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonic named after Dmitry Shostakovich. The finalists compositions were performed by State Academic Symphony Orchestra, conductor - Fedor Lednev. Soloists: Rodion Zamuruev (violin) and Elizaveta Sveshnikova (soprano). The final of the competition was held in three parts. In the first and second part, the competition works were performed, and in the third part - during the jury meeting - one could hear a symphonic work by Andrey Petrov: «Bells Russia», a fantasy for a symphony orchestra based on the theme of M. Musorgsky.
