On September 20, the final concert of the competition in the nomination «Symphonic Music» took place in the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonic named after Dmitry Shostakovich. In the first section, the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic conducted by Fyodor Lednev performed six finalist works of the competition. In the second section, while the competent jury was working on the results, the music of Andrey Petrov was performed for the audience of the competition: «Radda and Loiko», a symphonic poem based on the story of M. Gorky's «Makar Chudra» and the First suite from the ballet «Creation of the World».
As a result, the jury determined the winners and diploma holders, and at the end of the concert, the finalists of the competition were awarded.
